Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza To Join ADCC 2024 Hall Of Fame Class
ADCC has announced that 2005 World Champion & 2009 Super Fight Champion Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza will join the 2024 Hall of Fame class.
ADCC has announced that former champion and UFC contender Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza will be a part of their 2024 Hall of Fame class, joining Xande Ribeiro and Jean Jacques Machado. Jacare was the 2005 -88kg World Champion and the 2009 Super Fight Champion, defeating Robert Drysdale for the victory.
ADCC made the announcement this morning on their IG:
Ronaldo won the 2005 division at -88kg, defeating Demian Maia in the finals and Dennis Hallman in the semifinals. Jacare, so named for his trademark gator walk and athletic movement, would go on to have a very successful MMA career, with a long run in the UFC, Strikeforce, and DREAM.

In addition to his 2 gold medals from ADCC, Jacare was also a three-time IBJJF World Champion at black belt - with two of them coming in the absolute division.
