2-Time ADCC Finalist Nick Rodriguez Promoted to BJJ Black Belt
With only a few years of training and remarkable competition success, Nick Rodriguez has been promoted to black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu by Craig Jones
2-time ADCC World Championship finalist Nick Rodriguez has been promoted to black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu under Craig Jones. The B-Team athlete's promotion comes after only a few years training submission grappling after extensive wrestling experience.
Nick made the announcement this morning on his Instagram;
Despite the short time training, Nick has had remarkable competitive success. He's won the ADCC East Coast Trials and EBI 20, and placed second twice at the ADCC World Championships (2019, 2022) in the +99kg division.

Nick is currently ranked 6th in the heavyweight class in the FloGrappling no-gi rankings, and most recently was victorious at UFC FPI 5 over ADCC Open Class champion Yuri Simoes.
