Team Modolfo Wins AIGA 2023 Champion's League
Team Modolfo won the team title at the 2023 AIGA Champion's League with a 5-2 performance in the finals against Acai Republic
Team Modolfo won the 2023 AIGA Champions League in Almaty, Kazakhstan today, winning 12 out of 14 matches in the semifinal and final rounds to claim first place - and the $50,000 team prize. They defeated Acai Republic in the finals, and Universal Fighters defeated Battle Force for bronze. Dante Leon, Daniel Manasoiu, and Felipe Machado all went 2-0 on the weekend with two submission victories.

AIGA is a team-on-team grappling league based out of Kazakhstan. With a base in ADCC rules, they bring together some of the best teams/groups in the world for their Champion's League - including Team Modolfo which was assembled specifically for the event by ADCC head organizer Mo Jassim.
AIGA will return in 2024, and they intend to increase the prize money and the number of teams involved. All action for the entire league, from qualifiers through to the championship bouts, will air exclusively on FloGrappling.
