IBJJF will debut a new premium event "The Crown" in November. Here's what to know and how to stream on Flograppling
The sport of Brazilian jiu-jitsu will have a new elite, and annual, event that showcases some of the best champions and BJJ black belts in the world this November.
The IBJJF will debut its new premium competition, “The Crown,” this November in California as the event features champions like Gabi Pessanha and Tainan Dalpra. The event is presented by FloGrappling.

The Crown will be an annual event and will feature four grapplers competing in six weight classes, including two women's weight classes. According to FloGrappling's Joe Gilpin, the event "aims to elevate athletes to a new level of prestige and honor in BJJ. Both accomplishments and excitement were taken into consideration for who was invited to participate."
The new premium event arrives at an exciting time for the sport as 11 days later, FloGrappling will present WNO 21 which will feature some of the same athletes.

When Is IBJJF The Crown?
The Crown is at 4 p.m. EST on Nov. 19. The event is expected to be a new annual event on the IBJJF calendar.
Where Is IBJJF The Crown?
IBJJF The Crown will be at the Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California. Walter Pyramid was also the host for the 2023 IBJJF World Championships.

The IBJJF year is almost over and the Crown will be one of the last major IBJJF events of 2023.
The World IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu No-Gi Championship is at 8: 30 a.m. Dec. 7 in Las Vegas. That event is streaming on FloGrappling.
In 2024, the year picks up with the European Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship in Paris from Jan. 19-Jan. 27. This event is also streaming on FloGrappling.
