The middleweight match will be Tainan's first no-gi match at black belt afetr years of focusing on the gi, under the tutelage of the Mendes Brothers at Art of Jiu Jitsu. He has had a stellar run through his career so far, with a 71-2 record, with a nearly 75% submission rate.

No-gi specialist Troy Russell is a multiple time WNO veteran, with a 1-1 record so far in 2023. He is known for his aggressive style and dangerous heel hooking ability, something that Dalpra has never had to navigate before in a match.
