The upcoming Tezos WNO 21: Marinho vs Lovato Jr. card will feature Gordon's junior teammate & two-time ADCC Trials Champion Luke Griffith facing ADCC World Championship bronze medalist Roosevelt Souza. 

The heavyweight match will be Roosevelt's WNO debut and mark Griffith's third with the organization, beginning his run 2-0 with two submissions.

Griffith recently won the ADCC Europe, Middle East, & African Trials in the -99kg division with all submissions. The South African brown belt also won double gold at the recent IBJJF No-Gi Pans, again with all submissions. In one of the quickest WNO performances ever, he submitted Haisam Rida by inside heel hook at WNO: Ste-Marie vs Bastos.

Roosevelt Souza was the bronze medalist at the 2022 ADCC World Championships in the +99kg division, advancing to the semifinals before losing to eventual champion Gordon Ryan. Since that loss, Souza has devoted himself a lot more to studying leg locks - even winning the 2023 IBJJF No-Gi Pans with a leg lock in the finals.
