Jasmine Rocha is looking to add to her already-impressive jiu-jitsu resume as the young grappler will compete for the WNO 125-pound flyweight title on Aug. 10 in Austin, Texas. 

Rocha, the daughter of 3-time ADCC medalist and UFC fighter Vagner Rocha, beat Amanda Bruse in the first WNO event of 2023, which helped put her in position to challenge for the title. Rocha beat Bruse with a no-gi ezekiel choke from mount to get the win.

Rocha, a top-5 ranked no-gi competitor, has her work cut out for her as she faces the reigning 125-pound WNO champion, Ffion Davies, the No.1-ranked pound-for-pound no-gi female grappler in the world. 

Their match at Tezos WNO: Meregali vs. Duarte is part of a co-main event. 

Davies and Rocha are in the co-main event, just before the main event featuring Nicholas Meregali and Kaynan Duarte who square off in a heavyweight bout. 

Meregali made quick work of Pedro Marinho in the last WNO event in May, but now faces Duarte, the 2022 ADCC World Champion in the -99kg division. Duarte won gold in the super-heavyweight division at the 2023 IBJJF European Championships.
