The WNO 19 card is loaded with talented brazilian jiu-jitsu athletes and that includes JB Bechtloff, a former NCAA Division II wrestler turned No-Gi Worlds medalist. 

Tezos WNO: Meregali vs Duarte features a co-main event, a main card and an undercard. Bechtloff's match against Achilles Rocha is a middleweight bout on an undercard that features several intriguing matches, including a featherweight bout between Helena Crevar and Healy Dayan. 

The co-main event features Nicholas Meregali vs. Kaynan Duarte in a heavyweight bout, while Ffion Davies faces Jasmine Rocha is the co-main event. 

Meregali made quick work of Pedro Marinho in the last WNO event in May, but now faces Duarte, the 2022 ADCC World Champion in the light heavyweight division. Duarte won gold in the super-heavyweight division and the absolute at the 2023 IBJJF European Championships.

JB Bechtloff Is An Instructor For B-Team

Bechtloff is one of the instructors for the B-Team, which is based in Austin, TX. He also helps with physical training and rehab for B-Team.

JB Bechtloff Is A Former College Wrestler Turned No-Gi Medalist 

Bechtloff wrestled at New Mexico Highlands University at the Division II level. He earned a Master's degree in exercise and sports science. 

Bechtloff has gone on to win medals in No-Gi events at Worlds and Pans, where he he won silver.

JB Bechtloff Faces Achilles Rocha, Brother Of Jasmine Rocha

Bechtloff faces Achilles Rocha at Tezos WNO: Meregali vs Duarte. If the name is familiar, it's because Achilles Rocha is the son of Vagner Rocha, the UFC veteran and multiple-time ADCC medalist. 

Achilles Rocha is a purple belt. His sister, Jasmine Rocha, a black belt, faced Amanda Bruse earlier this year at Tezos WNO: Pena vs Rodriguez. Jasmine Rocha is in of the co-main event at WNO 19, fighting for the flyweight title.
