This weekend will feature two international events for grappling fights to get excited about, with ADCC Open Tijuana and Honor Submission Challenge Italy featuring elite grappling talent and several notable MMA names.

Honor Submission Challenge Italy - 12pm EST

Honor Submission Challenge will hold their sophomore event in Italy live on FloGrappling, featuring a slate of no-gi superfights and a Grand Prix tournament with $10,000 to the champion. The 70kg bracket will feature established names Keith Krikorian and Fabricio Andrey taking on European talents Alessio Sacchetti and Owen Jones, respectively. Diogo "Baby Shark" Reis will also be in action against the UK's Jack Sear, as the ADCC Champion takes the mat for the first time since the IBJJF World Championships. Atos black belt and No-Gi Pan Champion Jonnatas Gracie will take on former world no-gi medalist Charles Negromonte. The card overall has a lot of European talent that are capable of deep runs at the ADCC European Trials later this year.

ADCC Mexico Open - 2pm EST

ADCC continues its run of well attended open tournaments as they return to Mexico. The tournament, happening in Tijuana, continues to serve as a way for top talent to get matches and experience in the ADCC ruleset, and for lesser known grapplers to test themselves against bigger names. Overall you can expect great action in the advanced divisions, and here are 12 names worth watching that are currently registered to compete. Two interesting matches to watch are in the women's 65kg division, where Bellator's Ilima Lei-Macfarlane is bracketed to face UFC athlete Brogan Walker, and in the men's 91kg division where the top two athletes in FloGrappling's ADCC Open rankings, Matheus Lutes and Stephen Martinez, are entered.
