Nearly six months after Leandro Lo was murdered, a court in São Paulo will have an initial hearing for the accused killer, Henrique Velozo.

Hearing Date Set For Leandro Lo Murder Trial In São Paulo

A judge in São Paulo has scheduled an initial hearing in the murder trial of Leandro Lo for February 3, 2023.

Lo, the eight-time IBJJF World Champion and jiu-jitsu legend, was shot and killed at a night club in São Paulo early in the morning on August 8. 

The suspected assailant, Henrique Otavio Oliveira Velozo, turned himself into police hours after the shooting. He is a lieutenant in the military police force.
