Horlando Monteiro: European Championship Highlights

Horlando Monteiro was a man on a mission at the IBJJF 2018 European Championships.

The 23-year-old medium-heavyweight from Kimura jiu-jitsu took gold in Lisbon, Portugal, this past week after running through his bracket with two submission wins and one victory by points in the final. Monteiro's closed guard is as dangerous as they come, and more than one player fell victim to his dangerous triangle attacks.
