Kennedy Maciel is a rising star from the Alliance team. The son of 8-time world and 2-time ADCC champion Rubens Charles (a.k.a. 'Cobrinha'), Maciel grew up training under his father – and the effects seem to be working!

Maciel has already won many honors, including No-Gi World and PanAm titles.

This year he's aiming for the 'Grand Slam': gold medals at the four biggest IBJJF titles (at the Euros, Pans, Brazilian Nationals and the World Championships).
