Tommy Langaker called in from Norway, Ffion Davies and Marcus Phelan called in from Ireland, and Roberto Jimenez and Mikey Musumeci called in from Las Vegas.
Here are a few things we learned:
Bruno Made Mikey Change His Gi At The 2019 Worlds
Mikey detailed how the day before they fought at the 2019 Worlds, Bruno Malfacine complained that Mikey's gi was too small and Mikey had to desperately seek a new gi. He ended up borrowing a female size F2 gi to have his match.
Tommy Gave Everyone Some Matrix Details
After Mikey asked Tommy for some advice for competing against larger opponents, Tommy told him he needs to use the matrix backtake against them. Mikey tried enacting Tommy's instructions on Roberto, with Tommy hilariously finally showing Mikey how it's done, demonstrating on his roommate in their living room.
Ffion 'Bianca Basilio's Footlock Feels Like A Dog Is Biting Your Leg Off'
Ffion Davies discussed her ongoing rivalries with Beatriz Mesquita and Bianca Basilio, from breaking Mesquita's arm at ADCC after years of losses to her trouble dealing with the leg attacks of Basilio.
Tommy Wants Matches With Keenan And Meregali
Most of the guests were shy when asked what matches they would like to have in the future, but Tommy Langaker did not bite his tongue. After first saying he would "bolo the shit out of" Keenan, Tommy had this to say about a match with Nicholas Meregali:
"Of course I'm going to match up well against him. He's never going to pass my guard, he might get a sweep or two, but it's a superfight, I'll submit him."
Mikey Showed Us His Record-Breaking Ankle Lock
Mikey broke the Guinness Book of World Record for his 12-second ankle lock from a double pull in the 2019 Worlds finals; he demonstrated the setup for us on Roberto.
