Clark Gracie has made a career out of submitting people in fabulously good-looking ways. 

The omoplata master became a viral sensation thanks to his stylish moves, and cemented his fame by repeatedly surprising us with new and creative finishing holds. 

Gracie’s latest creation was wild, it was captivating, and wholly deserving of the title of FloGrappling 2018 No-Gi Submission of the Year. 

Called the “pretzelplata” because of the way it leaves opponents tangled up like the well-known savory snack, Gracie’s submission victory from the 2018 IBJJF No-Gi World Championships (where he was champion in the black belt master 1 middleweight division)
