Saturday November 21 will see some of the top gi grapplers from New York and beyond compete for a total of over $30,000 in cash prizes.

The IBJJF New York BJJ Pro, which takes place in the Nat Holman gym at the City College of New York, has drawn a number of high profile black belts.

Competing in the middleweight division we have No-Gi Worlds silver medallist Mansher Khera of Marcelo Garcia Alliance, LA Grand Slam winner Tanner Rice, Soul Fighters BJJ's Rafael 'Formiga', Gracie Barra's Otavio Sousa and GF Team's Victor Silverio.

In the featherweight division there are grapplers including Marcelo Garcia black belt Gianni Grippo, Kim Terra (Caio's brother), and two very tough Japanese grapplers in Masahiro Iwasaki and Tsuyoshi Tamaki, representing Carpe Diem in Tokyo.
