We caught up with Vitor ‘Shaolin’ Ribeiro ahead of his upcoming ‘Legends’ superfight with Kenny Florian at the UAEJJF Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship on April 22. 

‘Shaolin’ describes the gi match with Florian as a “different challenge”, and is excited to see what kind of tools Florian brings. 

I’ve been training really hard for the last month, two months. After my fight last year, I kept myself in good shape and didn’t have to push myself so hard. Just adjust a couple of things in my rolls and change some things, and travel next week feeling really good.
