Gordon Ryan put on another solid display of submission-oriented jiu-jitsu by winning EBI 8 last night in Los Angeles.
The New Jersey-based black belt, 21, submitted all four of his opponents with three of the four wins coming in the regulation time period.
Ryan made short work of the final match, beating Kyle Griffin with an inside heel hook in around 30 seconds.

This marks Ryan's second time as EBI champion, having won the absolute tournament earlier this year.
The Renzo Gracie team member, who trains under John Danaher, Garry Tonon and Tom DeBlass, has been on the up-and-up this year.
Since getting his black belt in February of this year, he has been making increasing amounts of noise in professional jiu-jitsu.
Ryan tapped out Keenan Cornelius in an epic 90-minute submission-only match just last month, and is scheduled to face Claudio Calasans under the same ruleset in October.
